East 17th Avenue long has been known as Restaurant Row, and that name has never been more fitting than now. Along with stalwarts such as the Avenue Grill and Strings, the street buzzes with activity and a wide variety of cuisines and bars. Near the Perrenoud alone, there is the Grill, Steuben’s, Aix, the Uptown Tavern, JR’s and Hamburger Mary’s. Farther east, heading toward Colorado Boulevard, are Strings, Milagro Taco Bar, Parallel 17, Chada Thai, Il Posto and the Thin Man. And for its fine produce, meat and takeout items, Marczyk’s is a true community resource. |
